Someone like Hitler could always justify his actions as being for the greater good, Stalin did the same. Hillery Clinton said something similar, when she talked about a Tax increase. That it would be for the "greater good".

look up eugenics...it's the study of people's heads...until about 1960, many Americans and Germans believed that a certain head shape was inferior...Hitler took this to extreme and tried to wipe out all people he thought of as inferior....he probably did think he was doing a dirty job that needed to be done....But eugenics is like palm reading or astrology...turns out he was wrong

At some point, he was completely hooked on opium which was given to him daily in an injection with an elixir to boost his energy. I would think this may have contributed to his warped views of the world.
