Like went out of their way to answer your question with an insult about your avatar, even if your avatar is not even you? If so, what did you do about it, if anything? Someone just did that to a friend of mine and she is thinking about deleting her account, she is new here and does not think it is worth it being insulted by total insecure strangers. What do you think? Thanx for your help. =)

yes all the time, its really annoying, I think sometimes, people are just joking around though, its really easy to tease or poke fun at people on the internet because your not face-to-face with the person, I'm sure that all those insecure assholes, sitting in thier basements would piss thier pants if it came down to insulting people in real life...people like this make me friggin sick!

Yeah some girl cussed me out today on here because I ask "stupid" questions. I mean, hello, this is P&S! But it was the first time someone did that to me here and I've been here since July. It's a tough Yahoo world out there, so just tell your friend that stuff like that is not likely to happen often and she should just move on. Tell her it also helps to keep psychos at bay if you keep your Q&A on private and don't allow IM or email here. I blocked the girl who cussed me out by the way. And she was one of my contacts! Can you believe it? You can't trust ANYBODY anymore!

Not to my knowledge, but then when I answer a question I forget about it and can't even remember which ones I answered. Also I don't look at the ones I asked OR answered in my account, so who knows? Don't kid yourself, there are probably more than a few that have told me to go fu(k myself, esp over on the Etiquette and Horoscope pages.

i dont know anything about that but when i hear the little kids on tv trash talking theyre friend from an auditorium in front of the whole class, that's some funny stuff right there, its about being against internet bullying, so they do the opposite on the commercial and the kids talk crap on theyre friends, i laugh so hard...it's america people, say what ya want, get over what ya hear....

Yes. Some people have. Most of them where from people who think they are better than others, and most of them I presume are from california usa.
(I'm not from usa and I often receive insults from them).
I don't waste my time reporting them, I only use block user feature or give him/her lots of thumbdowns.
