I have this virus on my comp, its called Trojan SPM/LX and im trying to get rid of it.

I have a norton anit-virus program, If I run a full computer scan will that get rid of it?

You can only use one antivirus or you will have serious conflict with your system. If you do not have an antivirus installed in your system, I suggest you download Avast free for home personal use. http://www.avast.com You will get auto updates on the hour, plus has excellent background scanner.

Or run your existing antivirus if you have one.

I cannot vouch for that program. It looks like what it does would help unregister the program, but may not delete all files related to the virus. I'd suggest letting a full anti-virus software handle this. Something like Avira Antivir (free) or NOD32 (pay) should do the trick.

you can type the complete name of the virus @ google or yahoo search, the results would surely help you, usually symantec corporation would be at the top of the result, they have particular threat removal tool and has a step by step guide on how to delete the virus from the registry... stop using free antivirus, and update everyday..

norton sucks use avast and get a-squared its a anti-maleware program very good it searchs for trojans also so get it update it then do a slow scan and it should find it . good luck

try this (http://www.symantec.com/business/security_response/removaltools.jsp) will definitely remove virus from your comp.
