It sounds like a good deal to me, no matter where you are at in the US, as long as it is in a nice neighborhood. I'm originally from Iowa (which isn't the most expensive place in the world to live), but I've heard of townhouses renting for around $900 in my home state!! Not to mention the fact that a water bill can cost quite a lot, so the fact that it is included in the cost of the townhouse you are looking at is a good deal as well! Do bear in mind though that neighborhoods that contain townhouses sometimes have annual neighborhood maintenance/upkeep fees and electricity bills can be quite high in the US, especially if you are moving somewhere cold and have to heat a big house.

Sounds like a steal (good thing to me)...but you really need to tell us a city, state or region...
You couldn't rent a townhouse in the slums for $524 in my city...$2000/ a month is more like it.
See what I mean...
It also depends on the age of the building...in my region, water and sometimes trash are included in the rent of townhouses, but rarely anything else unless the buildings are very old. If they are very new, water is not included with the rent.

You'll find that the only thing that is included in a majority of rentals is water. Most places don't include electricity or cable or other utilities, and if they do then the landlord prorates the amount back into the rent.
$524 sounds really cheap and a good price, of course it all depends on where you live, if you're not sure check other listings in the area.
Funnycunny this is a USA page, I have all my questions set to USA only and this was on there so you might want to check your settings.

Sounds like a good deal, but it depends upon where you are living. Look in the paper and on craigslist to see what comparable housing rents for.

It depends on the location. not that I'm asking where, but this is not the right place to ask this question. Where I live, in Chicago, such a home would cost at least 3 times what you pay.
