MRS CROSBY -

Extremely

NHL by-laws require every team to make available a minimum 2,000 tickets for each game for the general public. That is 80,000 seats a year for Toronto. Generally when these tickets go on sale, there are over 500,000 requests and they get snapped up fairly quickly. I've been trying for 10 years to get tickets via normal means, and have yet to be able to do so. Ever since the Leafs moved into Maple Leaf Gardens in the early 30s, they have sold out every game but one (and that was the 2nd ever game at MLG). And unlike a lot of teams, The Leafs don't give away tickets (yes......the Leafs SELL tickets to charitable organizations).

A have a preferred scalper for my games.

2Eighty8, I've been on the waiting list since 1997. 87 people were taken from the waiting list this past summer, all had been on the list since 1984 or before. The waiting list in Montreal for season's tickets is almost as long. My dad's been on their waiting list since 2001 (and I'm due to inherit his spot when he dies)

I've also heard they're pretty hard to get.

I compied and pasted this from some website

"If you are able to get tickets to a Leafs game you've done well. This has got to be the hardest ticket to get in the NHL. This city follows the Leafs religiously win or lose. That, and a large wealthy corporate base, has allowed the Leafs to continually raise their prices and still sell out the entire season before it begins. Anyhow once you've got a ticket you're in for an experience you won't forget. This place was built for hockey. Everything in the building says so. The ACC is immaculate. Take note of the corporate types who sit in the lower sections near the ice. They've all got private boxes under the seats to retreat to between periods! "

Making a phone call. My wife has many clients who are box holders/season ticket holders so she just calls them and they hand them over, it is basically what they are for.
In fact she went to the Bon Jovi concert Friday night and to see the Leafs/Bruins Saturday night. They were both awesome seats, or atleast I assume so, I have the hockey stub in front of me right now and it says Section 121, Row 5, Seat 8 so it sounds like a good seat, I forgot to ask her if it was. Should be as the price on it is 220.00$- although on the bottom it says Platinum Club Access so I am not sure what that entails, probably entrance to some bar there I guess.
Anyways, in my case, luckily it is who I know. I can get tickets to Ducks games (although I have never taken advantage) and tickets to all sports in Toronto, Montreal, Boston and NY.

Getting tickets to a Leafs game is like....paying to see a sub par team, hack goalies ,and an amazing center in the twilight of his career....

I'd make the owners put a real team on the ice before I attempted to get tickets...

... trying to convince ANY US politican that universal health care is good for the country.

You can get them, but you have to know someone or pay scalpers prices.

People leave their season ticket rights to family in their wills. There's a few thousand on the waiting list and it's been that way for some 50 odd years.
