most walgreens only have them in the books, they have them at the register and there is no additional cost. $8.20 for a book of 20.

Every customer of Walgreens that I've ever observed purchasing a book of postage stamps from stores located in New York are consistently charged an additional fee as part of the overall price. Most customers appear to accept this without incident.

They are not suppose to charge you extra for them.
