i do that all the time to annoying telemarketers!!!!!!!!!!!!! i actually did it right now but, they called back, losers! i try to act really mean and rude too but hey everyone knows that telemarketers are annoying.

oh I love them I have so much fun!
this one guy called trying to sell me books I'm like I can't read and then I pretend cried.
and then another time my sister and I waited till one of them called (which wasn't long they call like every 5 seconds.) anyways we answered the phone and we screaming at eachother we were like "OMG HE'S DEAD WHY'D YOU KILL HIM AHHH!!! GET THE BABY OUT OF THE BLOOD! GET THE BABY!" and then I was like oh crap...uh...hello? and then I didn't get an answer hahaha

I ONLY do that to telemarketers because they call for the dumbest reasons. I mean if we have the money to buy this, don't you think we would have had it already but they apparently cant get it through their heads! If it were a friend or someone I know then I would just say that I don't feel like talking and that I'm going to hang up or I make up an excuse like "I need to finish my chores" or "My phones almost out of battery".
(No offense to anyone who is a telemarketer)

All the time, I actually hate sitting on the phone talking, I would much rather meet up face to face and have a chat. Sometimes you just cant be bothered talking on the phone and a naughty little voice inside you tells you to hang up lol just because 'you can'! I know it sounds rude but hey why should you do something you dont wanna :)
Oh and dont get me started on telemarketers! None of us asks to be rang and harrased for money or whatever. Its so annoying when they call!

I'll say im not interested and hang up right away before the telemarketers can say another word. but naw I dont think I'd hang up on family/friends.

i always hang up on telemarketers. i listen to their first sentence then *click* i mean one time they kept calling me back and asking me for Johan and somethin about his Visa card...i mean sorry for the telemarketers out there but get a life! (at least a better job) agree with me?

i think that its rude to hang up on friends, but to a telemarketer i think its alright, because dont they expect that anyway? and besides, if you keep talking to a telemarketer to be polite, and end up not buying anything, all you have done is waste their time and yours. doesnt everyone hang up on telemarketers?

yeah i hang up on telemarketers all the time. I kindly say "no i'm not interested thank you" but they just don't get the hint! So i get fed up and hang up. I know its their job to sell us their stuff but come on! Give me a break!

Yeah, I do that, too. Sometimes, I do just the opposite - leave the phone off the hook and just walk away. It's amazing how long some of those clowns will keep talking to themselves before they realize their audience is missing!
