There are a couple of noteworthy made-for-TV movies: "Three Sovereigns for Sarah" (1985), with Vanessa Redgrave, and "Salem Witch Trials" (2002), with Kirstie Alley. There are also jokey treatments like the Disney kiddie horror/comedy "Hocus Pocus," with Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker as executed Salem witches who come back to haunt modern Salem 400 years later.
