Ok, I have a 3.96 gallon tank and i am wanting a lizard to put in it. This is the url to the tank i have

http://www.petco.com/product/12031/Aquatic-Gardens-Deluxe-Plastic-Aquarium-With-Lid.aspx

It is the largest one there and on images is the last model.
I have a little desk lamp and at about 6 inches
away from the light it is about 82-89 degrees. i have also been looking at heat rocks and pads. I don't really want any gekos but i would like a medium/little lizard and i don't mind feeding them live bugs.
Would that work out?what kind of lizards are there to chose from? And how to care for them
Thank you! =D

I wouldn't advise getting one of those for a permanent home for any lizard....I think those are more for traveling purposes. I would opt for a glass fish tank...we had a 10 gallon that worked nice...and you need to get a heat lamp...not just a regular desk lamp...

We used to have an anole...they stay pretty small...

please don't punish a lizard by putting it in something too small for even one anole! to small for one little gold fish!for one you would want to go for at least 20 gallons for just the minimum, and thats really for only 1-2 leopard geckos. get anything 20 gallon or over but dont make a poor animal suffer. and dont even get a heat rock! it will burn your lizard. please do some research before buying a lizard.. i see that you know nothing about lizards. oh and a desk lamp wont work..reptiles need special lighting to. oh the only small lizards are pretty much house geckos and anoles...but like i siad before, the house ur giving it is even to small for a housegecko or and anole. but f you want a lizard 2 hold, then house gecko/ anole arent the right choices for you.actualy no reptile likes to be handled...you should research before purchasing

Way too small for any lizard. Wait to invest in a larger tank, heating pads or lights, etc. A desk lamp is not appropriate for heating and lighting. Please do more research on care--reptiles are not "easy" pets.

house geckos but most lizards will not survive very long in a little tank like that and to be honest i think it would be a tight fit for even one house gecko. also they cant be held very often due to their sensitive skin.

most small lizards need a minimum of 10g tank the best thing to do is well buy a bigger tank

that is a little tank for any lizard. but for starting off, you might just want to get an anole. they're easy to maintain. do some research. you will need a bigger tank for almost anything. here is a sight to look for reference.
