There are a lot of actually great Community Colleges here in San Diego such as Southwestern College in Chula Vista, City College in Downtown, Grossmont, etc. I went to Southwestern and received my AA degree there. It's a really great college for people who don't want to pay a lot for general ed classes. If you want to transfer to a University it is also a great choice. My friends went to City and Grossmont and they offer about the same classes as what Southwestern offers. So, it really depends on which college you are comfortable with.
