I like going to the "travel" section
Then clicking the "United States" section
Then click on the town(s) that I know the most about. Sometimes I feel like I am really helping some of the Questioners.
IF YOU ROAM THE CATEGORIES AND SUBSECTIONS, you will find a section to apply your personal interests.

well if you're up for a heated debate and/or some name calling and vitriol, you could try religion and spirituality. if you are interested in religion, you're literate, and can make a good point without resorting to hate speech, you would be welcome. also, if you love animals you could try pets. i honestly answer questions in almost all the sections, but i stick mainly to the r&s. if you really are a senior, i'm sure you have some good life experience and things to share with people in many categories. i bet you could help out some people in the family and relationships section, too.

Actually I like Polls and Surveys. I haven't asked or answered a question over there for quite awhile but go there and read
most days for awhile anyway.

Polls and surveys is a lot of fun, but it can get weird at times. Home and Garden is good too. I think that you will find weird all around, but check into many different headings, you may be surprised at what you will find.

Pets isn't too bad but there are a few harsh people there at times. Sports Nascar isn't bad either

Food and recipes, history, books, science, polls and surveys, dining out, and geography are all pretty good. Movies and Television too.
