Help Please! Porn....?

Im crying right now. I caught my dad watching porn and porn videos underneath the bed and history of porn websites. When i got home from school, I went on the computer and it was logged under his username and desktop and I was looking under the recent websites hes been on and theres porn video websites everywhere. He wasnt working today so I think hes been doing that all day. It really makes me sad to know that my dad has been watching this c rap and i dont believe in it. he doesnt know i know but still. it really makes me mad and my mom and dad are married but fight off and on but right now i just want to bash his head. i hate him so much right now. hes coming home soon so what should i do? im only 13 years old

You can't hate your dad for doing that...even though you may not like it he's a grown man and will do what he wants with his time (I'm not saying it's right I understand how you feel) I wouldn't let him know exactly what you saw but what you can do is tell him to please be careful and make sure that he signs out of the computer when he's done using it.
You can also let your mother know what you saw and tell her that you just want to make sure that you don't see stuff like that.
I'm sorry you had to see that....it must be hard for you.

Don't be too upset about your dad watching porn.
While it was stupid of him to leave the information where you could find it, I am sure he would/will be horrified that you were subjected to seeing it.

Looking at porn is a normal part of adult sexuality, it doesn't mean that your dad does not love your mom but that sometimes people like to experience different fantasy's without the responsibility that human contact can sometimes endure.

I am not saying that porn is right or wrong , only that lots of people like it , both male and female.

He is gonna be real embarrassed and upset about you finding it....but.... I think you need to tell him when he comes home so he doesn't make the same mistake again and he can have the chance to talk to you about it in an age appropriate way and rationally so you can understand and hopefully forgive him.

That's what you get for snooping into his business. You should confront your dad and mom with this while you're still mad or you will chicken out. Tell him that you found the videos under the bed and the porn trail on the computer and you know that he spent the entire day watching the filth. Tell him to buy you a personal computer and new fendi handbag to make up for it.

I know it is hard for you to understand, but it is probably not as bad as it seems. It is hard to think of your parents as sexual people, but just because he is looking at porn does not mean he is cheating or he loves your mom any less. I am sorry you got exposed to it, and I know it might be scary, but it is not abnormal for a married man to look at porn. If you feel very strongly about it, and you are close to him, you might want to tell him tonight that you logged into the computer and saw somethings that you did not want to see because he did not log off and you would like for him to be more careful. Most men look at porn. Married men, single men, teens, etc. For some couples, it actually enhances their relationship. That might not be the case here, since you said they are fighting.

I'm very sorry you had to see it though, since you are so young.

There is no reason to hate him for this. Just tell him what you saw, and I'm sure he'll be more careful in the future.

It is your choice to not like it and not view it, but your father also has the right to make up his own mind.

This country is full of people with different beliefs and its the acceptance to agree to disagree that allows us to live together. Porn is only one subject that we as a country will never agree on. Others are religion, abortion, politics, environment ... etc. If you feel you need to express you views then do so, but always respect that others may not hold to your views and it doesn't make them wrong, just different.

Please don't be to mad at your Dad,, He has faults and that means hes human. The sex show thing may seem like a betrayal of your Mom but its not.
If you love him, sit down and tell him of your feelings. I will warn you, this will make him just hide it a little better. I am taking it for granted your Dad is just like most guys and looks at some kind of porn sometimes.
Not all the time and not all consumed by it.... Give him a little room to say hes sorry and explain a little.
You will be fine, and I bet your Dad is a good Guy.

I feel the same about porn as you do. Lots of people in here are so layed back about what you caught your father doing. I say this is totally unacceptable behavior for any father to indulge in. What happened to MORALS, self respect, respect for your spouse and kids. I feel really bad for you because he has let his lustful nature taint the picture of what a father should and should not be doing. Sorry all you porn freaks in here, but she is 13 and deserves to have faith in the man that is her father. He is showing just how much self control he doesn't have. Being 13 is a horrible age to walk in on something like this. i would talk to my mom and let her handle this. you are too young to even understand that this could be an adicttion and thats scary in itself. def let your mom go over this with your dad. dont get yourself into it, and your beliefs...its just wrong that hes doing it in the first place without your mom knowing.

theres not much you can do this is between mom and dad and he is a grown adult if it was me I would be pissed but my dad would not have done that . Even if you try to erase his password or user name he will most likely go to another site or change his pass word your mom and dad need to talk it out and then maybe everthing will be o.k.
