I went down to the basement earlier and my dryer was running.. We turned it on 2 hours before that and it should not have still been on.. So I checked the clothes and they were dry but cool.. So I threw in a wet blanket and it has been in there for an hour and is not even warm.. It's an electric one and only about two years old.. Help

Lint is usually the problem. Clean the lint filter and the exhaust line could be full of lint too. Clean them both.

maybe the timer dial is stuck. get it replaced. well if its only two years it might still be under waranty get them to send u a new one.

sounds like the heating coil is shot.

my mom had the same problem did u try to plug the outlet in and out
