Does anyone know of a good site i can get good information on building a private bomb shelter?

bomb shelters are relatively easy to build, as long as you have the room for it and the building code allows. there are a lot of them in my neighborhood due to the fact that we are so close to an air base. good luck and try to go a little overboard. making the place more useable and comfy could pay off in the long run.

Yeah, www.undergroundbombshelter.com No kidding, there is really a site. I remember the 1960s bomb shelter craze, so pardon me if I'm not in a hurry to dig another hole.
