Virtually all routers can be reset from the control panel as well.

You access the control panel by entering a numeric web address from Internet Explorer. Many are defaulted to 192.168.1.0 If that does not work, check your routers instructions.

Once inside the control panel, look in the various menus for a reset function. It should be there somewhere.

to reset your router you just need to hold the reset button for about 10 seconds. if that doesn't work then you unplug the router. let it sit for about 5 seconds and then plug it back in again and let it start it self all up. then the router should be ready to go.
