I'm a righty, like EVERYONE in my family for generations. But I've got a grandson who's a lefty, and I find it fascinating! There is a disproportionate number of lefties who are very prominent in the arts; we've had several lefties as president. They think differently than righties; they're more visually oriented.

I'm a libertarian, which pretty much means that I lean conservative in economic issues and liberal in social freedoms. I've voted Democrat in recent years because I see absolutely no value in the religious insanity currently peddled by the Republican party. I see it as the lesser of two evils.
