Yes. And many times when they don't know the whole story, which is most of the time, they will just make up there own version to fill in the blanks. Many times when people judge other people there evaluation stems from there own experiences and way of thinking.

Yes, I hate being judged unfairly but when the judgement is based on something I have asked or done and the appearance is one that I have created to look valid, then I have left myself open for that. In that case, I have to look at myself and do my best to change the situation that I am exhibiting...is my behaviour less than respectful to myself or someone else close to me?? If so, I change it. If not, I just go on.
An example would be if I am putting myself out there as doing something that appears disrespectful to my husband or family such as crossing lines of morality or fidelity. If a good friend questioned my actions, I would take a deep look at the problem and correct it immediately. I may not be happy with the line of questioning but I would appreciate it later.
We have to ASK about the WHY? someone may be judging us and if the judgement is valid, take our lumps. If not, then move on, sister.

I no longer mind it. I have too many years under my belt to care about what people say about me. How I feel about myself and my own actions are really all that matters. No matter what your religious or spiritual beliefs, my favorite lesson from the Bible is "judge not or you too will be judged" (Matthew 7:11, language varies depending on version of the Bible). Why do I care what others think of me? How I view myself is what matters. I am the only person who knows the "whole story" and my judgment of my own actions is all that really matters. If I do an honest self-inventory of my actions, I see myself far clearer than any hypocrite who thinks he/she is in a position to judge me.

It's not fair, but people do it all the time.
I don't think anyone can really help judging people, even they don't mean to or want to.
I try to be open minded and non-judgemental, but I find myself judging others all the time, especially other girls, which is really unfortunate. Rather than judging others, girls shoudl work together, but seem to instead spend most of their time cutting each other down.

Yes, last year I went though a lot of this at school. People always said to me 'your going to fail, your going to fail, you're never here, you're just being lazy and staying home'. It's like they want you to say the story of your life, maybe somethings personal, and I did have a very valid reason for me being absent a lot, this year too, and once I told one of my best friends she finally stopped harassing me about it.
I also proved them wrong, I passed my year with flying colours, and also got into AP classes this year... and half of them aren't even in one AP class.
Edit: People don't know the realistic part of reality, until it happens to them, that people harass them for the same thing.
My friend whom I told why I wasn't there a lot last year, is going though the same thing currently people are harassing her, and I know why shes absent, she's having medical problems =/ People really suck sometimes.

Yes, it is so irritating, but I am guilty of it sometimes. It's hard to know the whole story or both of sides of most things.

Yes, people shouldn't believe the rumors that they hear. It's amazing how gullible some people are. Never believe anything unless you're 100 percent positive that it's true.

yes. You never know how you would react in a certain situation unless you have been in it. People shouldnt judge something they have not been through.
