He will be 3 month old tomorrow and i've noticed in the past few days he has been getting lil red pimples on his face/forehead/chin. I'm assuming its baby acne but doesn't that happened right after birth and clears up after a few weeks? Could this be from kissing him a lot? What can i do to clear up my lil 3 month old cute face again?

it could be heat rash from sweating while he is in the car seat or when you have him wrapped up in blankets it could also be from baby lotion if you putting it on his face my son did the same thing i could wash his face with baby soap but i could not put lotion of his face even if it was baby lotion cuz no matter what is would break him out and it could also be baby pimples also from the formula you have him on it could be a lof of things but if you putting lotion on his face you might want to stop cuz that MAY BE not saying that it is but may be the problem some babies just cant tolorate things like that one their faces mine couldnt good luck

It is baby acne. My son actually had PERFECT newborn skin until he was 3 months. lol.

Are you breast feeding? Your hormone changes will effect him through your milk, causing him to get the acne.

Even if you're not breast feeding his hormones will change and fluctuate for the first year.

Obviously leave it alone, dont put ANYTHING on it, and dont wash it with soap, just keep his face wiped clean and leave it to clear.

My son actually got it twice, about a month apart, and it lasted about a month.

It's totally NATURAL. My twins have it...well twin A had it first now it's clearing up and now twin b has it...NOT catchy! My twins are 2 1/2 months old. My doctor says mosturizer is good for it, but will go away..there little pores are not open yet

This is normal. There is nothing you can do, it will clear up on its own.

DO NOT POP THEM. This can cause an infection.

It is not from kissing, so go ahead and kiss.

are u sure they are red pimples? if they are white pimples then they are milk spots, little deposits of milk under the skin. if they are red, are they pussy? if not, it could just be heat rash
