Sharing a mattress with a baby would not look very restful. With my teenagers (now a protracted time 10, 8 and four), i might enable them to return and get snug in my mattress interior the morning for approximately an hour. I share my bed with Graham, sometimes with the cat too... nobody else! (and if it's a Graham but not the Graham I have become accustomed to then I won't share a bed with him - it has to be a certain Graham... of course!)

My husband, my dog (who moults loads), and my 2 year old (who comes in, in the middle of the night). Very cramped - its a king size, but not big enough for all of us.

My parents taught me to nver be greedy and to always share so I share my bed with as many people as I can fit in it.
