I'd choose a visible scar on my face. I'm not worried about my looks. Communication is very important to me and with a speech impairment I might not be able to communicate like I need.

Ya know either way ppl are gonna look at you funny. I agree it is much harder to cover up the fact that you have a "speech Impairment" I like to talk to much I would get that little scar fixed right up. LOL ......... Doctor 90210 to the rescue!

Scar on my face.
It's important to me to be an intelligent articulate person. A scar won't take away from that but a speech issue could.

Scar, there's always Dermablend (makeup).
and it can give me character.
Speech impairment is just frustrating/difficult for all involved in the conversation. I sometimes stutter or talk too fast and it drives me crazy...especially when I'm trying to be professional.

Scar on my face. I want to be believed if I ever have to call 911. Your question almost sounds like what a robber on the street would ask his victim lol

a visible scar. You didn't say it would be a big, nasty visible scar. I could probably cover it up. A speech impediment would mess up my career.
