I don,t agree with him punching her, that was wrong and he should have to answer for that, but I must say that all these drunk thugs damaging hard working peoples property are disgusting and a scourge on Britain today. Sometimes the women are worse than the men.Something needs to be done about them!

My views....... hmmmmm... Neither I nor you know the full story and are therefore, not qualified to pass judgment. Law enforcement officials place themselves in very dangerous and scary situations; like attempting to subdue people who are under the influence of God knows what.
I don't know... Maybe he felt he was in danger. Maybe he felt threatened. Maybe he decided, in the heat of the moment and under great duress to use his training, his experience, and his judgement to use the force necessary to compel compliance from that woman. Maybe. But we were not in his shoes and can't really say with any degree of certainty.
Aren't you glad it was someone else and not you? Aren't you glad that your job does not require you to make those kind of decisions? Thank God for police officers.

Some drunken women can be more violent than men. Why was she ejected from the club?
The standard excuse later is that "I was having a fit" always a convenient one .
I wonder what she would have got in Saudi?

I think it's a pretty bad way of doing business, to put it lightly.
Police brutality should be handled with the utmost severity to maintain public confidence in the law enforcement services, and that kind of behaviour, regardless of the woman's demeanour is unnecessary and not permitted in police guidelines.
If I'd been in charge, he would have at least faced a severe fine and unpaid suspension.

Have you seen the video? The Police Officer was using tried and tested restraint techniques which may, on first impressions seem over the top, but in reality they are perfectly justified.
Niche nightclub was known for repeated disorder and Ms Comer was no angel herself.

so you assume that all officers who have to use physical force to restrain a person are abusing the criminal correct?
Grace and fluffy seem like the only two with any sense of what a police officer goes through when dealing with a drunk and disorderly individual....

If she had said she was Muslim ,their would have been a suicide bomber in Scotland Yard amd the rent a mob would have been calling for young British children to be slaughtered.

It is difficult to judge. If what the woman says is true then the officer should be dealt with appropriately. If what the officer says about the woman is true then she asked for it.
It is a completely different situation from that old Rodney King scenario.

So it's ok for her to kick him, spit at him, bite him, grab his nuts, kick him in the nuts & kick him in the knee then is it? She was resisting arrest & later found guilty of criminal damage. Hardly the innocent.
