Use a very soft toothbrush and lightly rub it under warm water. That should bring the shine back. And try to keep a regular cleaning and check at a local Tiffany's!!~~~~~~~`

A cheap and easy alternative to metal polish is toothpaste. Just put a little on your hands, and rub it around with the metal under the running tap. It only takes as long as you'd normally spend washing your hands, so I'd certainly call this an easy way.

Not knowing what kind of stones or metal it's made from, it is difficult to recommend a particular cleaner. Warm soapy water is safe for pretty much everything. If it is silver, you can use silver polish. However, if it contains pearls or stones, avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners, as you can damage the stone (or pearls).
