I posted this earlier and got two responses from "liberals."

No neocon would dare to touch it.

Sad thing is, this poor lady has no legal recourse.

Bush exempted her KBR co-workers (rapists) from prosecution and she signed an agreement to arbitration in the event of a problem.

Unless she decides to hold a press conference, it's unlikely that it will get more air time.

so you went from some guys doing something bad to indicting two companies (ignoring the fact haliburton sold off KBR) then moved on to blaming the Bush administration. Logical

If this did happen then it should be dealt with. Ofcourse the first reports of Scott Beuchamp seemed credible too.

Nobody is defending this, so what's with your attitude?

It is a horrid thing to have happened, and the failure of the government to have investigated and acted in a timely manner is unacceptable.

What else would anybody say? It's not a partisan issue, so your trying to make it one is despicable, to say the least.

wow.. that's pretty sick. The fact that she had to convince a guard to loan her her cell phone.. call her dad.. who called his congressman.. who had to make some other calls to send people to get her out of the container.. that anyone would do that to someone... let alone an American Company to an American citizen.. is pretty sick.

If there is a Hell, they have a special seat reserved.

notice the party affiliation of the congressman -R
KBR and Haliburton were wrong and should be held accountable, but to blame conservatives is ludicrous

Why would anyone defend this? This isn't a lib vs con thing. This is about scumbag rapists.

nah, everyone knows Halliburton and KBR are in on it (the war profits). the only ones pretending that they aren't are the halliburton/kbr stockholders
