No, Lucky, anyone can hurt anyone.
That's not how things work in real life.
A person doesn't have to care about you
in order for you to hurt them.
With that thought in mind..when you factor in the fact that this individual actually do care about you an awfully lot;
just imagine how much more painful the hurt could be
for them, especially if you don't even believe them?
Not being trusted by the one you care about in one
of the most painful feelings in the world.
Just thought you should know.
Love and peace 4ever.

No.
Generally when I hurt people it is deliberate and therefore when they tell me they are hurt I stop what I am doing and tend to their pain. That is more about who i am than hurting people, but; some people pop my cork and I have to respond and that response is hurtful.
If I hurt a person by accident, I feel awful and help them as best I can but I carry the scar of that hurt with me forever.
I am no going to lie and say i never hurt others. I hurt the ones I care for most all the time but again it is seldom deliberate and burdens me to this very moment. It is part of the I have a cold heart picture that begs explaining but to explain it here would interfer with other people's privacy and that too would be hurtful.
I don't want to hurt others but it has its time and its place, namely self defense and the protection of others.
So back to the answer, I believe it because I am that sort of person. It runs in my family. Our scars are deep. We care that much. We would and have literally died for one another....

The issue is; why would they tell you that you hurt them? If it is just for you to understand their behaviou toward you then you should believe them. If they want to hurt you by letting you know that you hurt them then you should know that you did. The fact that you don't want to believe them in this case may mean that you just want to be in denial of any pain you caused.
There may also be more underlying support for wanting to believe this, in that you genuinely feel that you did nothing wrong (which you might not have), or you feel the person is being dramatic (which they may be).
But telling you that you hurt them is not someting people often lie about. There pain may often be unjustified though, or genuinely not your problem but that kind of talk usually stems from some kind of pain

no, i dont think so. not all the time.
there is no effective mask to wear to hide pain and so is joy. its a very transparent feeling, people can see that just by the way you blink you eyes, the depth of your pupils or pace of your breathing. when i hurt someone, i apologize....dont ask me about the sincerity, sometimes i apologize just for the hek of it, its better to meet half way than pulling each others' hair. about your detail, hmm...let me tell you this, people in my life will only "care" about me when i hurt them. and thats amazing.

No... I don't normally try to hurt people.... so if someone told me that I'd know that it was the truth.... Then I'd try to fix it...
