Didn't ask if any one liked his looks, there were THOUSANDS of his happy fans at all of his concerts, booked solid for weeks when he played in Veges, you would have to get tickets a year in advanced to see his shows.

He is a great composer of songs, probably stilll does his share. Came to be known through writing the jingles for ads, McDonalds, etc. Was Bette Midler's opening act for quite some time, and my favorite was one of his first hits, "Could It Be Magic," a Chopin take off, later made great by Donna Summer. AND who could not like Copacabana? He has a wealth of hits under his belt, is still making music in Las Vegas to sold out shows, lives in Palm Springs and flies up to Vegas weekly. Yep, still like the Manilow. Goldwing

I never heard him sing that song. But I am not a fan of his. I
think the last time I saw him on TV was when he was coaching a contestant for American Idol. I remember his best, for his "I write the songs that make the whole world sing". Thanks to Goldwing, I see he's still packing them in,
in Vegas.

I never went to any of his concerts, I did liked his song Weekend in New England. You're right, he wasn't much on looks, but his voice was nice on a few of his songs.

I remember when he was playing in a little restaurant before he was "discovered". It was called the "Little Corporal" and it was in Kankakee IL - about 15 miles away from where I grew up. I like all of his songs, but I think my favorite is "Mandy"

I watched him doing songs from his new CD " Songs from The 70's" last night on PBS. I always have liked him and love his music. It was fun to see him and he was right up to par.
