I have several sets of 1960's coins in plastic.From a penny to a quarter.Never touched,never opened.How can I find out what I have in value?

If they're in plastic then they're probably mint uncirculated sets. If you post the question again or send me a message with which mints they are from and which years specifically, I can look them up for you in the Red Book.

The proof and mint sets from the 1960's had the cent to the 1/2 dollar in them. they were in a soft plastic envelope with each coin sealed in it's own pouch. They would also have an envelope with them, that is a tan color. The mint sets of 1966 & 67 are special mint sets and were in a hard case. At times private companies put together sets of coins in hard plastic cases. If you have he tan envalopes that say U.S. Mint then they are either proof sets or mint sets. I can't give you values for I don't know what dates you have and also if they are a complete mint or proof set. You can try a couple of coin dealers. Sorry this is the best I can do without more info.

Get a current edition of Whitman's Offical Red Book, the 2008 should be out now or very soon, all american coins are listed.
