One of my sprinklers is damaged and it shoots water up like an errupting volcano. The water lands on my windows and as a result of that, they have got stained from the hard water -- I live in the desert and water sucks here, despite the fact that I do have a water softener. Does anyone know how I can remove these hard water stains? Thanks!

Here is my window cleaner recipe for cleaning glass and windows that will leave absolutely no streaks, and will remove the water spots with ease. In a spray bottle use:
2 parts rubbing alcohol
3 parts water
2 or 3 drops of dishwashing liquid.
You will be amazed at how new your windows look.
