i own a Pulsar 180 DTSi.
If i put a K & N Filter to my vehicle will the mileage of my vehicle reduce?
i wuld also like to know the difference between ordinary filter and a K & N Filter.
How is the life of both the filters.Heard pple say K & N filter can b re-used.
Will changing tyres of my bike cause ne damage in its mileage?I wanted to start using the new tyre released by MRF not sure abt the name.Some tyre made for racing
Which is the best Engine Oil for smoother nd a better performance.I use Castrol 4T engine oil.
Heard many pple say smetime if we are in a dusty area the K & N Filter will malfunction nd will coz sme problem.Also heard pple say that if too much oil is used then also its malfunctioned.

yeah, you can clean are reuse K&N filters, the only diference between them and an oem other than that is the name.

Generally speaking performance parts increase fuel mileage, the K&N is no exception

the tire shouldn't make a noticable diference either way.

engine oil is a preference thing, can't recommend one for that bike

Haven't heard of any problems with K&N

Your getting more air so your bike is probably running lean. Probably hot too. Your bike is designed to run with the factory filter changing things will effect your bike. Whether it be for good or bad. Tire tread/ compound will effect your mileage (rolling resistance). Newtons third law-"every action has en equal and opposite reaction.
