What kind of SUV??? They are all different and require tires of different sizes and characteristics..The best thing to do is go to the Tire Rack web-site, and use their ratings guides to point you in the right direction. Also, their prices are more reasonable than most tire stores.

I like the Bridgestone Dueller & Firestone Destination.

If you want a super-premium tire for on-road driving then the Bridgestone Dueller H/L Allenza would be what I recommend (that's what I put on my mom's Tahoe, also OE on new Cadillac Escaladess)

If you want an All-Terrain tire I suggest (from most to least expensive) Bridgestone Dueller AT REVO, Michelin LTX M&S, Bridgestone Dueller AT, Firestone Destination AT

If you want a moderately priced on-road tire then I suggest the Bridgestone Dueller HL or Firestone Destination LE (what is on my girlfriend's SUV.)

Check http://www.tirerack.com/ to see what others are saying about those tires.
