i don't know, but how can that be the shortest? go. is shorter, only one word, and 2 letters!

Looking at it in the way of sentence (like a jail sentence) "I do" is definitely the longest in the English Language - as it is a life sentence. (unless you divorce)

Bonjour madam I do yes during marriage people say this, not the longest, because if you think about it a liftetime isnt really that long is it? before you know you die, So i would say its a manipulative way of stoping people getting married so they dont have children, and the human population is controlled, Thats what they promote in the public media etc. democracy they call it? aurevoir

No. Actually, those are both the same. I'm willing to bet that the longest sentence can always be lengthened (especially with the use of semi-colons).
