I think we have so many problems in this country, way more important than that, yet everyone is worried about peoples weight. Time to move on. Obesity in children is one thing and I'm very against that, but adults make their own choices, and live with those choices, and as long as they arent a burdon on anyone else, then their weight is no one elses business. Im fat, and well aware of that, but Im not lazy, Im not a drain on society, I dont spend all day eating, I dont frequent fast food joints 3 times a day, I dont neglect my personal hygiene, and Im not costing anyone a dime in health care. On the rare occassions that I do visit a hospital, its not weight related, and I pay out of pocket. But I guarantee people look at me and get an instant attitude because they assume things about me based on my weight.

It's true. Comparing Italy to America there's a large difference in the obesity ratios. You people need to get more exercise. Heck I still run around the block after I shave just to get all the oil out of my chin so I won't get a pimple.

Good play on words. There may be more obese people now in the U.S. but they also may want to be that way so is that really a problem if they are exercising their choice?

It's not America's problem.
It's nobody's business how much a person weighs or what that person eats.
If a person is overweight, only that person can make the decision to lose it.
We don't need some dam "nanny" law regulating obesity. Fat people are fat because they make unwise food choices....
Nobody forces them to eat.
Keep "society" and government out of our personal and private business.....
