In Illinois, they are waivers for either religious, or medical reasons. But, you will not need to use either of these unless your child is attending daycare, or until they start school. So, you might have to say that it is religious reasons, or find an alternative doctor that does not believe in vaccines, and will sign off for you. I will give a website, and it shows where you can find forms. It sounds like you need to find an alternative doctor, or find a chiropractor. They are really good at answering questions about vaccinations.

i'm uncertain if i've got faith that somebody might desire to never get an immunization yet I do have faith with the way issues are presently i might somewhat no longer have my little ones vaccinated. i'm no longer tender tampering with a baby's growing to be immune gadget with something that should break it or keep away from it from arising appropriate. a baby's immune gadget is stepped forward greater or less around the age of two. i might sense in yet in a distinctive way additionally if my little ones have been in daycare. i do no longer believe the factors that are in vaccines. I additionally do no longer believe pharmaceutical businesses because of the fact they're blinded with greed. those are basically various the justifications.

Try the Dr. Perlmutter book How to Raise a Smarter Child by Kindergarten - most libraries have it and theres a section on immunizations. Also try the CDC. Or even page thru the book at a Barnes and Noble to see if you like it, has a lot of other great stuff in it.

Are you using an OB or midwife? Do you know a midwife in your area that can maybe give you the number of a peditrician that can give you some information.
You don't have to justify your decision to anyone and it's a shame that Dr's are giving you a hard time. You are an adult making an informed and educated decision.

First of all, i would think very carefully before opting out of immunizations. they are there to protect your child, and save his/her life. Babies still die from diptheria, tetanus, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, influenza, etc. Unfortunately in our country of immigrants/world-wide travelers, we get many diseases still roaming around from people who from over seas who are immunized. Unfortunately there has been a rise in cases of some of these diseases, even in small towns, and unfortunately children, esp babies do DIE from them. Many of these diseases aren't particularly harmful to older children, but have been historically DEADLY for infants. Some like scarlet fever can cause permanent eye-sight or hearing loss, like my bff mom has. PLEASE research the profound positive effects of having your baby immunized before you decide not too. Even chicken-pox can get into the respitory system or eyes, and cause damage. Tetanus causes lock-jaw = baby can't eat, straining to open mouth. Polio killed about 50% of victims. Every year there are several thousand deaths due to FLU complications, almost all are infants (whats that RSVP virus that babies can get?) and elderly people. Over billions of people have gotten immunizations and had no problems... when I got my MMR booster, I had a weird reaction: reason was I am apparently ALLERGIC to the measles virus, they said if I had gotten the real live thing I most assuradely would have died...

You're willing to lie to keep from immunizing your child? I'm just making sure I have the info right. Why? What are your reasons if they aren't religious?
