If the lawn is a manageable size you can rake to several small piles and then bag the piles. A larger yard or acreage would need a bagger attachment. Once our bagger bins are full we pour them in a large pile and burn when permitted. If you cannot burn in your area, the bins are like plastic garbage bins and you can put bags in them, when bags get full you tie them off and put them out with trash.
Good Luck, ;-)

Go to your local hardware store and pick up a orchard ladder and a chain saw. Start cutting at the top of the tree, try to cut pieces so you can comfortably lift and move them. Be careful of ladder placement, do not reach for branches. Continue working down the tree leave the last section about 6" off the ground. A stump remover is a good way of finishing your job off or there is stump rotting chemicals out there also.
Ta da no leaves!!!

My neighbors have this blower mower that neatly blows the leaves wherever they want them... They have large yards and it takes about about 1/2 hour while it takes us for the same size yard about 1-3 hours !!! Also, another neighbor has a bag mower and it bags the leaves and they put them for the "suck" truck on the tree lawn OR you can bag them.... That takes less time as well... You can also use a leaf blower and blow them onto tarps to bag or dispose of in the woods...
Good luck

A garden blower/vac is good. You can use it in vacuum mode only which picks most leaves but is time consuming but you can blow all the leaves into one corner and then vacuum but it doesn't collects as much. Electric one's are best but if you have a large garden then petrol one's are available. If moneys tight then use a good old fashioned lawn rake.

Actually, instead of removing the leaves, I mulch them in place. This involves mowing the with a mulching plate on the mower. If you have a lot of leaves, you can either use a lawn vac, or a mower with a grass catcher installed . The mower chops the leaves up so they take up less space in the bag.

We go over the lawn with both our lawn mower and riding mower. Both mulch and have leaf catchers. Then my husband piles them up in one big pile while the kids and I stuff them into lawn bags. It has proven to be quick and easy for us, and we can fit so much more into the bags.

The first i do is run the mower and cut them up. Then i have a tarp about 10 foot by 10 foot . I lay it out and rake them onto it like a dust pan. I drag it around from place to place till I got them all. then I drag over to the flowers , garden, shrubs and use as bark mulch.
