It depends on how badly you are hurt, and what they need to do to you. If you need a urinary catheter, have a lot of trauma, need lower extremity or abdominal films/CT etc, they will remove all your clothes. If you aren't hurt too bad, they may leave your underware on. If you are alert & talking & have no complaints, you will get into a gown. Even so, you will be covered up as much as possible once undressed. This is because the only way to see if there is some type of hidden trauma is to SEE everything. Its important. Also, no one is leering at you naked. They are professionals & have seen it all before. They are only interested in helping you. Try not to think of it too much & hopefully you will never need to find out!

It will depend entirely on how badly you're hurt. Clothing is made for modesty, but frankly the medical community is worried more with your health than your dignity. What good is modesty if you are DEAD? So if they think that they would be better able to care for you with your clothing off, it gets cut. If its something as simple as a broken wrist or a cut on your forehead, your clothing is usually left untouched. The clothing becomes more of an issue when the patient is bleeding and has obvious physical trauma and is unconscious.

Yep--its either cut off your clothes or let you die. Besides if it is serious enough for them to remove all of your clothes you will be in so much pain if you are even awake that you won't care and there will be blood everywhere so they won't notice your period. They only cut clothes off if they have to to save you and the doctors and nurses will cover as much as they can once you are stabilized so don't worry.

They only remove the articles of clothing that they need to. If you have a chest wound then they would remove you shirt and/or bra. If you have a leg wound then they would remove you pants and/or underwear (if necessary). These people are professionals the last thing they care about is if you are on your period or not. The men have wives/girlfriends/sisters/mothers that have periods and the women well they have them. Its not a big deal its just a part of life for a woman.

It depends on the extent of the injuries. They cut clothing off, actually, if it needs to be removed quickly and they cannot risk moving you.

Doctors are professional and are only doing what is necessary to help you. If you have your period I wouldn't worry about it. Doctors deliver babies and do surgery where they're used to seeing everything. Helping you is what is their goal and they're not concerned about what you look like or whether you're on your period..

they might remove everything, but it really depends on what happened, what possible injuries you have and if the clothes are really obstructing anything important.
just know that they would never ((and should never)) do that unless absolutely necessary.
hope this helped =]

it depends on the severity of your injuries. Usually, if you are unconscious, then yeah, you are stripped to nothing, because they have to hunt for any possible injuries.

it's nothing they haven't seen before. don't worry. if u were hurt, u would need treatment and they would be focused on ur injuries not ur period or boobs. unless ur boobs were injured as well.
