Im not trying to be funny i want to know. How will they keep the blood line clean from outsiders? And after a wile wont every one of them be related

Actually there is a genetic disorder that's rare and fatal among the Amish children. Google it...I saw a doc on it and it was very interesting.

It's one of the downfalls of having such a closed culture.

They have a fairly good sized population. There are 150,000 amish in Pennsylvania alone. That would give a pretty good breeding population. Attention is paid to the blood lines and marriages are not allowed that have people too closely related. They may be distant relatives but that can happen in non-amish communities as well. You would have no idea if your current girlfriend/boyfriend is your cousin 10 times removed unless you did some thorough research.

There are Amish communities all over the states. Many times, spouses come from one of the other communities.

My husband told me a story once when he were younger he made friend with an Amish boy and he offered him to have sex with his sister to get her pregnant. And of course he rejected that offer becauce he doesn't want to be a breeder.

They visit or have over other ordnungs or groups of Amish people from other areas.

A lot are inbred unfortunatly for the children.
