People always say no one can be perfect, but what if what they percieve as an imperfection, is perfect to me.

Like what if a person has all these qualities, and physical features that I think are the best, even if they are bad to someone else. Wouldn't that make the person perfect?

Pefection, as a word, I would believe to mean that the person must have all qualities that are liked by everyone. If just one person does not like a certain characterisitic about that "perfect" person then he or she would not be perfect. In a situation with just one person's opinion is accounted for, then that one opinion must find no imperfections. If none are found then the person being viewed can be considered perfect by that one person forming the opinion. So perfection is based on opinion and opinion is subjective; meaning that he or she can be "perfect" to you but not another.

"Perfect" is meaningless, except in very strictly defined areas.

For example, you can describe a circle with a formula. That's extremely well-defined. Therefore, you can talk about a perfect circle, even if there are none in reality. The concept of "circle" is well-defined enough that you can think about what a perfect one would be.

Humans are not really well-defined. There are some loose characteristics that we tend to like or not like, but to say a human is "perfect" assumes that there is some authoritative model to go by. People have differences. Some of those differences are good or bad, and some are just neutral differences. For example, what would be the perfect height? The perfect weight? The perfect hair color? The perfect race? When you start talking about how perfect behaviors, that is even more vaguely defined.

Perfect as a subjective idea, having all those qualities that YOU like, does exist. It just differs from person to person.
Perfect as an objective idea, does not. There will never be something that everyone completely agrees on.

Yes, I believe you can be perfect to your lover or to someone close to you who adores you.. But you will never, ever be perfect to everyone because everyones perception on what is acceptable and what isn't is different...It's a tough question !!

If practice makes perfect, and no one's perfect, why practice?
