Ohh yes big mistake because i ended up hurting the new guy, who was a great guy.I was just fresh out of a relationship in which i had not given proper closure. i realize now how immature that was, just look at it this way the new person you are going to be with deserves your complete heart and mind in the relationship it may feel good but if you are not ready give yourself time and space matter of fact it is advisable to give yourself time after the breakup of a relationship before you start a new one.if the person is for you he will still be around. cheers

That's called Rebound. Lots of people do it and most regret it. Slow the train down. Jump off at the first place you're comfortable.

YUP. I was with my ex (childs father) for 7 years when he suddnly walked out on us then 2weeks later he moved in with his boss' wife then married her 6mos later. needless to say i was devastated. but 6 mos after he left i found someone and we married a year after we met. I love my husband but i never got closure from my previous relationship. And believe me it is hurting my marriage. If my husband knew i still had feelings for my ex he would flip. i never had proper time to heal.

It an animal instinct thing.
One needs to feel wanted, not rejected.
To feel part of, and needed, by the community.
So---we have to prove to our immediate surroundings, that you are worthy, and as such----you pull the first available mate, that comes into view
