As a journalist, i'm style of disillusioned by potential of the question and various the responses to it. before everything, networks do no longer decrease into shows to cover information that is already been coated. that could create a backlash from you, the customers, and the media shops might lose money. Media shops understand greater desirable, and in user-friendly terms decrease into shows whilst something relatively significant breaks (or on a greater community point, for severe climate). 2d, explanation why CNN, FOX and Sky information have headlies each and every quarter-hour is provided that's what customers of media want. In our age of technologies, you, the customers want all the information in a single chew-sized bite that for the duration of user-friendly terms takes approximately quarter-hour to air. this means that maximum thoughts are undercovered, or in user-friendly terms the bare info are defined for a information journey. this means that sure, the information will repeat itself, because of the fact there are not sufficient newshounds to return up with ninety six information thoughts an afternoon. in case you're finding for a greater finished information phase, might I recommend which you set money right into a newspaper subscription, or change from headline information to the foremost CNN station? as some distance because of the fact the photos looping, that is because of the fact oftentimes a photog does not get assigned to a journalist doing a narrative, and if one does, he in user-friendly terms has some photos out of the 1000's he's taking chosen by potential of his manufacturers to make the perfect reel. There are even much less high quality camreamen then there are high quality newshounds, so as that is why that is complicated to get clean, severe-high quality video. desire this insider attitude helped you all out slightly. Please do no longer facilitate media hate... we basically cover the thoughts you prefer us to, and supply it to you the way you like it.

Sky News, always up to date and always seem to have reporters there first on the scene, and I think they are a lot more open with information, unlike the BBC which has too many ruling bodies.

If i'm watching news it would be BBC News 24. But I prefer BBC Radio Scotland, cos that gives me regional news.

Sky is better.
The BBC is run by Guardian readers who don't know the difference between reporting fact and distorting facts to fit in with their own pre-conceived ideas.
