Ok my friend and I are working on a project for Geography, and we have looked all over the internet for a current ISSUE that is going on in the Yukon Territory. If anyone can help us out with an issue, not an event, please do!

Thanks to anyone who can help! =]

Horny Caribou.
Seriously, a lot of companies want to drill for oil up there, because they've already found lots of it in the ground, and oil is quite profitable right now.
However, there are lots of people opposed to it, on the usual and understandable concerns of pollution and capitalism run amok, but their argument that these oil wells would interfere with the migratory routes of the caribou and thereby jeopardize their ability to breed, is unique to the Yukon.

You are a bit mistaken: for the last 12 or 18 months, Saskatchewan has been growing. In fact, at one point, it was the fastest-growing province in population. Why populations rise and fall (even Alberta has lost net population in the not-so-distant past) is all about economics. People wants jobs and will go to wherever they are.
