My dad and I built bookcases for my room. Not too hard. He did the cutting and most of the assembling. (I don't go near circular saws. Traumatic childhood experience. Seriously.) I did the staining. I did get to use the nail gun a bit. Those are fun! Time consuming, but not hard.
