Who Honestly Really Cared about those Dead Dogs(Vick)?

I honestly don't think any of those people who are saying he(Vick) should be killed like those dogs or given more jail time really give 2 cents. He did a crime, then he deserves those months given to him. If they want to fight a cause, how about the dogs that are killed everyday in pounds b/c nobody wants them. Until then don't try to act all self righteous. Its fake. What are your thoughts?

You right many people do it everyday and they don't get caught for it. It doesn't make it any more right of a thing to do. Micheal Vick was one of those people who did get caught for it and he just happens to be a celebrity. Doesn't mean that people always get away with it to. People get thrown in jail everyday for animal abuse. Vick got charged the regular if not more minimal punishment of the crime.

Animals feel pain just like humans, the only difference is that they can not tell you. I think any torturing or killings of animals should result in years in jail. I think that it is awful what people do to thier pets and I think that it shows what kind of person you really are if you toture or neglect your pets. I care deeply about animals that have been tortures or neglected, so much so that I would take in any animal that needed my help.

Of course we can't save all of the unwanted animals in the world but he was very wrong to go out and commit such a crime. he must be punished.People looked up to him and he set a bad example.
