One time when he was drunk at a family party he followed me upstairs, backed me up against the wall and started saying things like "I give really good backrubs, you know" (while he was rubbing my shoulders) and "your cousin doesn't really love me". He was pretty drunk though when he said all of this so that probably had a lot to do with it. He tells me he thinks I'm smart and that his mom loves me and he's super nice to me but then again he's nice to everyone. He also looks right into my eyes sometimes and smiles and holds his gaze for quite an uncomfortably long time. Is he just being friendly or what? I'm not going to steal her fiance from her or anything I'd just like to know if I'm reading too much into it or not.

I think you're reading too much into this. He just sounds like he's a little flirtatious

People open up more when they are drunk. He sounds creepy and perhapes you should tell your cousin about his actions.
It may save her from some emotional pain later on.

I woudn't take it personally, he sounds like a dog who probably corners girls on a pretty routine basis. Why not tell your cousin?

No, he doesn't like you. He is probably horny and wants to get a piece from you on the side.
