Yep, I was 2 minutes late. According to my boss, late is late and there's no excuse and if I can't get here on time then she'll change my start time to something later. It's not like I was 10 or 20 minutes late or had people, clients or customers waiting for my arrival. My job starts when I do, so I don't see what the big deal is.
I was late because I forgot my purse and had to go back to get it AND I live on the 3rd floor w/no elevator. I might have been on time had I not stopped at Starbuck's, but I need a latte` before I can face the people I work with.

I was late today because someone, who will remain names less, took way to long in the shower. Not only was I late but I had to take a cold shower. I was not a happy camper this morning, but he did make me fresh coffee so I guess he is forgiven.

Well....I woke up....Ate a bagel..went back to sleep thinking it was saturday...My socks fell off. I reached down, put them back on. Went back to sleep. My dog farted. I couldn't breathe. I held my breath. Almost died from suffocation. Stench passed, went to sleep. Woke up. Something tickling my nose. It was my sleeve. I move it out of my face, forgetting it's attached to me. Went to sleep. 4 o'clock now. Tired. Woke up. I'm thirsty. MILK. I go to the fridge. My butt itches. I scratch. Open milk, it's smells bad. Sip it. Vomit in my mouth a little. Yep. Expired 2 1/2 years ago. Almost solid cheese. Close the fridge. Still thinking it's 5 in the afternoon on saturday. Brush my teeth. Gargle mouthwash. Here sirens. Shiz. My house is on fire. Get estingwisher. It's actually next door. Go to sleep. Finally peaceful. Goodnight.

I was late becasue I saw my neighbor taking out his trash can for pick up and he was only wearing his bathrobe and when he turned I saw hiw member and I jsut had to ahve it. So I went over to him and asked him if he would have me right now and we spent a half hour on the floor in his living room doing wonderful things that I am still thinking about right now!

I was late due to road closure. Some poor soul picked an argument with a lorry. Seeing the state of their car made me think some things are more important than being late.

i was travelling on i 81, and opened up a pack of cigs. i went to toss the wrapper out the window, and accidentally threw the cigarettes instead, so found the next u turn, and traveled opposite direction 15 minutes. another u turn, back to the location of the incident. couldn't find the cigs. then ny state trooper pulled up behind me for being parked on the shoulder. i explained why i was there searching the ditch. luckily she was in a good mood and let me go, warning of the three tickets she could of wrote.... my boss loved that one!

I was late picking my son up from school because my daughter takes forever to get her shoes & coat on. Just 3 minutes late though.
