I was a total "Star Wars" nut when I was a kid...saw the movies a zillion times, had most of the toys (the only ship I didn't have, strangely enough was just a plain old TIE Fighter!), but gave 'em all to my stepbrother. Whoops. I wish I'd've held on to all of the stuff...I could have made a f-ckin' fortune on Ebay...action figures I bought for 99 cents in 1983 now sell for like fifty bucks a pop, even without the packaging...

Too bad the only "Star Wars" movies I actually saw in the theatre were the worst ones: Episodes 2 and 3!!!!! I fell asleep during 2...

Star Wars is my number one hobby. I am a supergeek when it comes to Star Wars. I read the books, can practically quotes all the movies from start to finish, and I have so much useless trivia on the Star Wars universe stuffed in my head. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I vaguely remember the first two being shown on tv one Christmas, but I was never really a fan.

I did, however, love the Ewoks spin-off cartoon series, and I think it also featured R2-D2 and C3PO ?

I think after watching the series I have applied movies to real life. Sort of like metaphors in a way.

i love them, i was the only girl (or any child for that matter) in 3rd grade who had seen all the movies that were out at the time. and in 6th grade there was a premiere at midnight at the movie theater for it, and i was the only girl/ kid there, it was funny because half the crowd was dressed up in costumes!
