You won't have anything thats enforceable. And if he gets a new girlfriend (he will) and she says no to CS you are out of luck.

Well really you are kind of screwed because he is only you boyfriend you were never legally married know if he is not the birth certificate then that is another thing you are going to have to call him and tell him hey we are going to have to come with a deal and you send me money every month usually it is about 25% of his pay check and he needs to send you this and tell him if he does not do then you will get it through a lawyer but if not I think that best thing you can do is get your money through the courts. Because I assure you you will not get anything.

You should go through the courts, for BOTH your protection. If you dont then if you get mad or he does then there isnt anyone ot enforce it and you can go and get back support from the day you broke up if the payment isnt what matches the state mandated support. Things may seem agreeable now but 4 years down the road you may view things differently...

you can find out the child support calculation for your area online. That will tell you how a court would rule in your situation. That should be a good guide what he should pay and what you have to pay. You can also try legal aid if you can't afford an attorney

set up an agreement between the two of you and have him pay in check or money order and make copies that way you have receipts to show he pays.
