Bring all the troops home and keep them here, but barring that I would like a new hybrid mid size comfortable auto to pull a nice 16' scamp around the country and just be a gypsy for a year, visiting all the folks on here I could and who would have me in for tea, latte or a Toddie!

My own house again. I could paint any color I like. I could wash my car anytime. I could plant a big garden. I could play my stereo a little louder. I would have more room for out of town guests. I would get a dog and a cat. And if a homeless person came to my door I would feed them and give them money just like I saw my grandmother do in the 1940's. I could also do laundry any time of night or day in my own washer and dryer.
This is what I would like for Christmas.

I'd like to retire and tour the country. Then I could volunteer, doing things for people who don't have what they need. Like Habitat for Humanity (I love to build things). Workin' this 8-5 job is really crimpin' my style! I also thought of the Peace Corps but that is a looong commitment. And I would want to travel at my own pace.

For the budget deficit and trade deficit to be completely paid off.

This would be a fabulous present for the entire country.

Lacking that, I'd like a 1957 T-Bird convertible, blue with white interior.
