I think the only reason I don't get so stressed any more is that I've lived long enough, and through enough, that I now know that I simply can't pull off the Martha Stewart Christmas, with working full time and having a family, and it seems that everyone still loves me and has a great time at Christmas! I love all the decorating and baking, but what the husband, kids, and grand kids really want most is just to visit and have fun together.

I'm starting to feel stressed because I've not been myself for a couple of weeks now and my meds aren't helping much. As long as I feel loopy, I'm keeping my driving errands to a minimum. See the doc again Thursday. In the meantime, there's much to do, and I seem to be unable to accomplish anything worthwhile.

I get stressed out by traffic (when shopping) and the super annoying people who work at the kiosks in the mall trying to sell me $300 straighteners and $200 dead sea salt scrubs. The other day, someone actually grabbed my elbow and pulled me over while i was talking on the phone. I politely told them that i was not interested, if i was, i would have approached them and that they may be putting off their customers by being so abrasive. *whew* Other than that, I love the holidays!

When I get stress I pet my cats and dog or go out to the meadow and brush my horse down. The look in their eyes is so sweet and calming
