I have 3 kids. 14, 12, and 17 weeks. The last one we tried for 10 years for. I had taken the Depo shot for two years prior, then absolutely nothing. We were just about to try adopting/foster parenting when we came up pregnant. I'm not sure the time lapse was due to the Depo, but it is what it is. Advise?? Stay calm and don't sweat it. There are a ton of things that have to come together in one perfect second to make a baby. Have faith and just enjoy the trying to get pregnant part!!!! We were on an elk hunt near the south rim of the Grand Canyon, camping in a tent in minus nine degree weather when we conceived....Maybe give that a whirl! ;)

I took home ovulation tests and we were lucky enough to get pregnant on the first try. I don't know what all you've tried but what we did was as soon as the ovulation test came back positive we were like rabbits for a week. And everytime after sex I'd put three pillows under my butt so that gravity would help the semen flow towards the egg. Oh and neither of us drank and he didn't even smoke during that whole week. Also I was taking prenatal pills already and making him take Folic Acid. Hope that helps!

It took me 3 months. My mother-in-law mentioned that she used to ovulate early in her cycle. I baby danced the first few days right after my period and I'm now 21 weeks pregnant. Don't wait to start trying until you see the cm stuff, start before that because the sperm can live up to 7 days some people say so the sperm will be there when you do ovulate. Good luck!

Wow girl 7 months?? most women i know can get pregnant within a few months. One thing i can say which i dont know if it apply's to you if your boyfriend/husband smokes marijuana it decreases sprerm count and also makes them little buggers slow. so if this may be the case make sure he stops. other wise just make sure your keeping track of your ovulation days correctlly and it will happen! good luck to you and baby dust!
