No offense... while the meaning would be similar...

The correct term is: "$3 word". Costly. For some reason, the number 3 shows up a lot in common phrases... Another is the "$3 bill".. which is another way of saying strange, queer (aka gay). Then, there's "3rd rate", "the 3rd time's a charm" and "3's a crowd" which is understandable.
