Unplug your internet. That usually worked for me.

Ritalin - j/k.

Maybe you could work on a subject that you could do with a friend or group of friends? Invite them over and maybe get some snacks out. Or think about what you should be reading or writing and get yourself psyched up about it. Or you could just turn off the computer and make yourself do the work.

Get into a social learning setting, maybe a study group. Surround yourself with colleagues that meet your expected goals ( not messing around). Maybe a degree dealing with computer might be in the works.

To stop me doing it, (I'm at Uni) I put a pink post-it note on my screen, with big black to-do list on it. I do this every morning, as soon as I wake up to go to work or lessons. This usually guilts me into actually doing some work.
